In this day and age of nipping, and tucking, and shaving and plucking, I wanted to celebrate beauty differently. That's why I created this poem, as a space to celebrate what I see as beauty. You can also find the written copy here in my blog, but poetry is meant to be heard, so here is the performance video. This poem was first published in the College of New Caledonia's student newspaper the Confluence (http://www.cncsu.ca/confluence/). It was also included in my chapbook 'A Kootenay Flower in Foreign Soil'. The performance was filmed at Café Voltaire (https://www.facebook.com/cafevoltairepg/) in Books and Company (https://booksandcompany.ca/) in Prince George, B.C. Enjoy!
