About the event

April is National Poetry month so join the Panoptical Poet at the Salmo Valley Public Library to celebrate with a poetry writing workshop!

Speaking out either in written format on a podcast or at a rally are all important ways that we can use our voices to make change happen in the world around us but how can we ensure that we are advocating for our rights in ways that are not harmful to others?

In this 1-hour workshop we will discuss how each of us can check our poetic privilege when we are writing poetry songs stories articles or speeches.

To pre-register for this event email or visit the Salmo Valley Public Library!
