The Panoptical Poet makes poetry and flowetry to inspire and delight the world around her. She is passionate about social change, and most of her art focuses on highlighting injustices and opening dialogs that help us to examine and understand the varying viewpoints of our current global reality.

Erin has performed as a spoken word artist and facilitated workshops at Two Rivers Art Gallery, Books and Company, The Exploration Place, Robson Valley Music Festival, Peace In Peace Out, Wild: an Untamed Variety Show, as well as other venues.  She has also given flowetry (hula hoop dance) performances at Nelson International Mural Festival and the Kamloops Buskers Festival, and she facilitates workshops that help people to understand where flowetry comes from and how it can help us connect with ourselves.

Erin has also been a children's educator for twelve years working with students of all ages & abilities. Erin has certification in behavior management, Orton-Gillingham, multi-sensory learning techniques, mindfulness, and children's yoga instruction.

As the Om Work Guru, she combines all of these aspects into a unique tutoring method that helps her students enjoy the process of learning, and master any subject. She also creates resources that parents and teachers can use with students that are sold on TPT and in the shop on this website.
